For your consideration is a 1/32 scale X-1 model rocket plane signed by Brigadier General Charles E. "Chuck" Yeager. It is an autographed model of the plane Yeager flew when he became the first person to fly faster than the speed of sound. The plane and its accompanying stand are in excellent to new condition. I have not cleaned the plane, preferring to leave that job to someone who knows better than I how best to do it, so you will find an extremely light layer of dust on some parts, which is noticeable in the photos and should not be mistaken for paint damage. Also included with the plane is a certificate of authenticity and a photograph of Yeager actually signing the model plane. The signature is pristine and clear.
